About Patricia Atelier
Hello, I’m Patricia, the illustrator behind Patricia Atelier.
I’ve always loved capturing the little moments that make everyday life memorable – sitting outside a café, flowers from the market, a polka-dot dress, a suitcase packed for a journey, a summer day by the sea.
Travel, classic fashion and old films are a constant source of inspiration for me. Time spent in France introduced me to its colours, Mediterranean light, markets, old streets, window shutters and the atmosphere of everyday life that I still return to in my work.
Living in England has brought a different kind of inspiration – the English countryside, flower-filled cottages and gardens, cosy bookshops, little cafés and shops, country lanes and the changing seasons.
I’m drawn to charming places and the beauty of a bygone era. These are often the starting points for my illustrations. I begin with a sketch and redraw each illustration by hand in Photoshop using a Wacom pen.
You will find my illustrations throughout my planners, stationery, notebooks and other little things I create.
